Whilst we had always been attracted by the profitability, predictability and passive nature of making income with property…we thought it’s only accessible for those who have huge sums of capital to get started with.That was until we discovered the ‘rent-to-rent’ model that leverages platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com.

After countless hours of learning and relentless searching, Leena eventually found her first property in Birmingham, UK. Unfortunately, Leena couldn’t afford the £800 rent (I was only making £400 at the time). But through her confidence, persistence she won the landlord over and persuaded him to lower the rent. And just like that, Leena secured her first property. It wasn’t ‘perfect’, but it was good enough to get started. 

Next, Leena had the huge task of setting the property up to list on Airbnb. Problem was, she was working two jobs at the time and barely had enough time to do it on her own. And that’s when Uzma came to the rescue. Through countless sleepless nights doing everything themselves, together we got our first Airbnb listing 4 weeks later. 

We saw the success of our first listing, and knew that was the time to double down. So instead of splashing the cash on ourselves - we re-invested our profits into securing more properties around Birmingham and Coventry to start building a portfolio around the West Midlands.

At this point our earnings were significant and were earning us multi-six figures so we were finally able to give back to our families. Uzma moved her mum out of their council house. And we flew our entire families to perform Umrah, fulfilling a long-standing dream of every Muslim.

After our success in the UK, we decided to expand our Airbnb operations globally. And our hottest pick? Dubai. We started to investing into properties in Dubai, which is also where we’re currently based.

As the success of our Airbnb business grew, we started getting inquiries from people wanting to do the same. So, we decided to take on a few mentees to teach them our exact process. We also started posting about our journey on YouTube.

Within a few months, dozens of our students started getting wildly successful results. We’ve had university students with 5 properties by the time they graduated, we’ve had people securing properties despite working 12-hour jobs, and our library of success stories is only getting bigger and bigger.
